Maddux, 5-0. Best start ever

Before I petition Francis George to nominate Maddog for beautification, I just have one word for the senior citizen: amazing. Sure he gave up some hits and the below one era got a bump but to pitch himself out of jams, is simply, a masterpiece. Some nice plays defensively helped a bunch. Today was all about timely hitting and heads up base running. JJ is swinging good wood, Murton got around on an inside fastball and Aramis is getting in the zone. Nice to see Cedeno and Walker get out of their O-fers. Eyre had some nasty stuff and nice to see Williamson has a bad short term memory. Was impressed that he went up the ladder for a K. Tomorrow is nagging me along with Sunday. Davis pitches well against us and Capuano with his 3/4's arm slot has owned the Cubs. I'd love to see a sweep and take the shorty with the Buccos. Then its off to the left coast.
