1st canidate for idiot of the year, 2006.
Matt Leinart, the #10 pick in this years NFL draft. Here is a guy that had the world by the balls, and would have 98.9% chance of being last years #1 overall draft pick. Instead this idiot decides to stay one more year, loses the national championship, shows pro scouts the holes in his game and then slides down to #10. That in and of itself seems innocent enough, (he screwed himself) but this asshat decides to holdout of training camp, for more MONEY. Now, before anyone starts up with Arizona jokes etc., mind you, it's the fan that will suffer. Matt, get off your friggin high horse, get your slotted money and PLAY football, ya typical left coast loser.

Being that we lost the Cardinals from St. Louis, I am a bit of a closet fan of their team. All of the pieces appear to be in place . . .Good QB, great RB, and a fantastic compliment of WR's. I am secretly rooting for them.
As far as Leinart,(sp) I was never impressed with him at the college level. His arm is average and defenses will be coming at him a bit faster than Fresno State's. He'll be better than Cade McNown, but I don't project him as a star.

With the cards offense, quick passes and an occassional deep threat ball is all that is required. He'll be fine for that system Denny Green has there.
